My story

Hi there, I'm Ash. Here's a brief story of how I got here. 

Little girl me was enamored with all things wild and artistic. Some of my very favorite things to do were draw, make houses for bugs, catch lizards, and make mental maps of all my annual campsites. Everything I create now is in direct descendence of her. 

For a long time between then and now, I became rather lost in life. I went to college with no real idea of what I wanted to do in life. Pretty normal, you could say, but nonetheless scary when you’re in it. After a long art hiatus, I decided I wanted to gift a friend with an oil painting of Mt Superior for Christmas. It was my first ever oil painting, and it helped me remember how much I love making art. Above that, how much I love making art for people. 

From this, the idea was born. I started thinking, how cool would it be if I could print my art on hoodies and shirts. There are so many people who adore these places as much as I do, and no one is making truly dedicated graphic wear for them. All you can find out there is generic mountain designs with interchangeable location names. 

The idea was exciting, but excitement only takes you so far. It took me another 3 years to actually decide to get it moving. At the time, I was working at a coffee shop and had built an amazing community of coworkers and regular customers who all became my close friends. Everyday I would show them the progress I made converting my oil painting to a graphic design, finding the right hoodie blanks, creating my own website, registering as a business, and whatever else I was working on. The loving affirmation and input they all gave me I will never forget. I couldn’t have done it without their support.

And here we are now. I am doing what I love, making art for people.
